Dr. Yogesh is the Managing Director of Kolhapur Zilla Sahakari Dudh Utpadak Sangh Ltd., Kolhapur since 2021. This is leading cooperative dairy organization in Maharashtra state of India with an annual turnover of ₹4,200 crores. The Milk Union is well known across India through its popular brand "Gokul", an Operation Flood cooperative dairy project established on 16th March 1963.
Dr. Yogesh has actively contributed to the dairy industry through his association with professional bodies. He is a former Zonal Committee Member and Life Member of the Indian Dairy Association - West Zone and the Dairy Technology Association. In recognition of his significant contributions to the development of the dairy sector, he was conferred with the prestigious “Dairy Bhushan” Award by the Maha Dairy Association, Maharashtra State.
He possesses a strong academic foundation, holding a degree in Dairy Technology, an MBA in Finance and Marketing, a Master of Philosophy (Economics) and a PhD in Economics from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
With 31+ years of rich experience in the Indian dairy industry, Dr. Yogesh has served in responsible leadership roles at Sunfresh Agro Industries Pvt. Ltd. (Lactalis India) and Schreiber Dynamix Dairies Pvt. Ltd. His career includes key positions such as Dairy Executive, Dairy Manager, Team Leader, General Manager and currently Managing Director. His professional journey spans private, cooperative and multinational dairy organizations.
His core expertise includes dairy development programs, pilot surveys, establishing milk procurement networks, ensuring quality raw milk procurement, agro/input servicesand operational efficiency in dairy plants, sales, marketing, overall administration and management.

Mr. Madhav Vasudeo Patgaonkar is a seasoned dairy industry professional with over four decades of experience in dairy operations, marketing, business development, and cooperative management. He has held senior leadership positions with KMF (Nandini), Lactalis India, Prabhat Dairy, Gokul Milk Union, and Warana Dairy. As a dairy business consultant, he has successfully led market expansion initiatives, business transformation projects, and strategic advisory assignments across India. A Life Member of the Indian Dairy Association since 1996, he currently serves as Secretary, Indian Dairy Association (West Zone). He was awarded the Fellowship of the Indian Dairy Association in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Indian dairy sector.
Swati Srivastav is a senior development and finance professional with nearly two decades of experience in the dairy and rural development sector. She currently serves as Senior Manager (Finance) at the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Mumbai, where she is involved in planning, appraisal, financing, implementation, and monitoring of strategic dairy development initiatives across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa. An alumnus of the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), she possesses extensive expertise in project finance, institutional development, cooperative strengthening, business planning, and stakeholder management.
Throughout her career, Ms. Srivastav has worked closely with dairy cooperatives, milk unions, producer organizations, state governments, and other key stakeholders to drive sustainable growth and enhance organizational performance. She has successfully led regional operations, spearheaded the preparation of revival and business plans for dairy institutions, facilitated the development of dairy processing infrastructure, and promoted farmer-centric initiatives through capacity building and the establishment of Farmer Producer Organizations. She tries everyday to made significant contributions to strengthening India's cooperative dairy sector and advancing inclusive rural development.

Professor (Dr.) Jashbhai B. Prajapati is a Dairy Technology graduate from Gujarat Agricultural University and Ph.D. in Dairy Microbiology from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, India. He retired as the Principal & Dean of the Faculty of Dairy Science at AAU, Anand in October 2020 with 40 years of experience in education and research. He is a renowned academician and scientists in the area of probiotics and fermented foods and has developed several fermented milk based functional products. He is Ex Chairman of Indian Dairy Association-WZ, Ex Chairman Gujarat State Chapter and Coordinator of SASNET-Fermented Foods. He handled number of research projects sponsored by ICAR, DBT, State Govt., EU, SIDA and has more than 500 publications, including two text books. He has guided 32 MTech and 9 PhD students. He was awarded Chancellors Gold medal for being the best student in the University in 1984 and has received 2 times GAAS Award, 6 times best paper awards. He had Fellowship awards from Erasmus Mundus (EU) as well as Indian National Science Academy. He is a Fellow of Indian Dairy Association as well as Fellow of National Academy of Dairy Science. He is a recipient of Hari Ohm Ashram Award 2015 from Indian Council of Agricultural Research for his outstanding research contribution in probiotics. He is Associate Editor of International Journal of Fermented Foods, International Journal of Probiotic and Prebiotics and reviewer for several reputed scientific journals. He is serving as an expert member for many other universities/ institutions and also evaluating start-up proposals from B-school. He is a reviewer for projects/proposals in the area of probiotics and functional foods from DBT, BIRAC-BIG, DST, ICAR, ICMR and several other organizations. He has widely travelled in Europe and many other countries and has delivered lead talks/keynotes in many conferences including IFT, IDF, IPC, AOAC, ILSI etc and has organized several conferences and workshops for building the network on fermented foods. He is a Life member of several professional bodies like AFSTI, IDA, AMI, ISCA, GAAS, PAI, Biosensor Society of India, etc.
Role in IDA
Life member of IDA since 1988 and have participated in most of the Dairy Industry Conference since then. Involved in creation of IDA Gujarat State Chapter in January 1998 and since then involved in organizing various seminars, workshops, training program etc. for milk producers, students, dairy professional and so on. He served as Vice Chairman for 2 terms and Chairman of Gujarat Chapter for one term. He served in ZEC (WZ) for several years and as Chairman from 2023-2026. Introduced the concept of dairy awareness programs for the students and society, Women Farmer Award for West Zone; training programs with BAIF, industry awards with Inter-dairy any strengthened relations with the industry by organizing seminars and workshops in all the states of west zone. He was involved in organization of 3 DICs in Mumbai and Goa and Gandhinagar. Committed to work for all the stakeholders of dairy and overall development of dairy sector.
Dr. Srinivas Sajja is the Managing Director of the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Ltd. (NCDFI), bringing over 34 years of leadership experience in cooperative marketing, institutional administration, and financial strategy.
As a key architect of the NCDFI eMarket platform from its inception, Dr. Sajja contributed to its conceptualisation, design, implementation, and operational framework, ensuring transparency, competitive price discovery, and nationwide market access in bulk dairy trade. His Ph.D in Management, with research focused on eMarkets, further complements his practical contributions and reflects his commitment to research-driven innovation and digital transformation in cooperative marketing.
Dr. Sajja has also played a key role in strengthening NCDFI's dairy supply operations to the Armed Forces and Paramilitary Forces, ensuring reliable support to these organisations. In recognition of his distinguished service, he was honoured with the prestigious Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Commendation, a rare distinction for a civilian professional.
In addition to his responsibilities at NCDFI, Dr. Sajja is also serving as the Chairman of the Indian Dairy Association, Gujarat State Chapter, contributing actively to the development and advancement of the dairy sector.

Shreenandan Sharma is a highly accomplished Dairy Microbiologist and industry leader with nearly five decades of distinguished service in the Indian dairy sector. A postgraduate in Dairy Microbiology (M.Tech.) from National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal (1974), he has made significant contributions to dairy development across government, cooperative, and private sectors.
During his illustrious career, he served for 26 years in the Government of Madhya Pradesh and MP State Cooperative Dairy Federation, contributing to dairy development, quality systems, milk processing, and organizational growth. Subsequently, he spent 24 years in the private dairy sector, holding senior leadership positions including Vice President & General Manager in reputed dairy organizations such as Bhole Baba Dairy, Reliance Dairy Foods ,Swaraj India and S.R. Thorat MilkProducts in Maharashtra .
Shri Sharma possesses extensive expertise in Quality Assurance, Food Safety Systems, Product Development, Dairy Plant Operations, and Dairy Project Management. His professional competence was further strengthened through specialized international training in UHT Milk Processing and Quality Assurance at ACC Blaydon Newcastle, United Kingdom, sponsored by MP Dairy Federation under the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), UK programme.
Over the years, he has successfully led numerous initiatives involving process improvement, quality enhancement, product diversification, and operational excellence in dairy plants across India.

Shri Sharma is presently serving as Managing Director, Paradigm Dairy Consultants, Indore, providing consultancy services for complete dairy projects on a turnkey basis. His consultancy covers feasibility studies, project planning, plant design, equipment selection, quality assurance systems, product development, commissioning, and operational support for greenfield and expansion dairy projects.He is also on Board of Aamikza Biotechnology Pvt Ltd Pune as Senior Consultant who are engaged in production of Dairy Lactic cultures.
