ABSTRACT

The demand for non-bovine milk is growing primarily owing to increased recognition for its nutritional and therapeutic properties. This trend has catalyzed a range of commercial endeavors, encompassing establishment of dairy farms to produce a diverse array of products. Product diversification of non-bovine milk and its positioning in pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry beyond conventional food options offers tremendous scope for profitable farming of non-bovine animals and conserving their dwindling population. It calls for improving access to technical guidance and support to scientific farming of non-bovine animals.
